Biography: Helen Davies is an assistant professor in the English department and is a joint faculty member with the School of Data Science. Her work focuses on the intersection of medieval studies and digital humanities. She uses multispectral imaging to recover damaged or illegible cultural heritage objects. She trained with the Lazarus Project and co-founded Videntes Imaging Collaborative. 

Before joining the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she was an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and co-director of the Center for Research Frontiers in the Digital Humanities.
