Nitin Agrawal

Nitin Agrawal is a distinguished leader in the field of data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). With extensive experience at Deloitte and other reputable organizations, Nitin has a deep passion for building and deploying AI applications to solve complex business problems and reengineer business processes. Nitin specializes in the banking, capital markets, asset management, insurance, and payments sectors, leveraging his skills in building high-performance teams and infrastructure from the ground up. He holds certifications as a GCP Professional Cloud Architect and considers himself a hands-on executive who can drive complex change across the digital, cloud, and AI spectrum. Currently, Nitin is the CEO and Head of AI at SpendNDrop, a fintech company focused on developing an AI-based platform to provide credit products to underserved and underbanked populations. He has successfully built a fully digital app and an AI-driven underwriting model that revolutionizes credit assessment by eliminating reliance on credit scores. Nitin is also leading a complex M&A effort with the Bank of Montreal and Bank of the West, executing several complex core system conversions, data warehouse migration to AWS, and overall customer conversion for personal and business banking. In addition, Nitin acts as a Lead Advisor in Financial Services at Okera, where he guides cloud and digital transformation, data security, and AI within the financial industry. He offers thought leadership and strategic direction in data security and access control.

Nitin’s contributions extend to academia as well. He is a Founding Member of the School of Data Science, serving on the Industry Advisory Board since January 2015. Before his current roles, Nitin spent over a decade at Deloitte as a Partner within the Analytics service line. Within the financial services practice, he led technology engagements encompassing cloud, AI, and digital initiatives. Nitin managed global teams, delivered innovative solutions, and established long-term talent pipelines through collaborations with universities and academia. He played a pivotal role in designing an AI foundry, enabling the application of AI at scale and successfully implementing over 100 AI use cases across various domains. Nitin Agrawal holds degrees in Engineering from IIT Roorkee and Vanderbilt University.
