Sudeshna Banerjee is a results-driven Senior Leader with a proven track record in data science, AI/ML, advanced analytics, technology, platform and capabilities architecture, and implementation in the financial services industry. Currently, she holds the position of Data Management Executive and Head of Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform at Wells Fargo. With over 18 years of industry experience, Sudeshna leverages her broad and deep expertise in meeting challenges and utilizing data, analytics, and technology. She is known as a recognized thought leader and innovator, contributing to the development of new tools, methodologies, and problem-solving approaches. Sudeshna’s professional journey includes various senior leadership roles at renowned financial institutions. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she served as EVP and Head of Client Insights, Data Science & AI at Truist, where she was responsible for driving client insights through advanced analytics and AI. Before that, Sudeshna worked at Bank of America for 16 years, holding the position of SVP, Technology Exec, and Global Head of AI and Data Science Technology, Global Banking & Markets. She served as Senior Vice President and Head of Data Science & Advanced Analytics, Global Banking & Markets at Bank of America, where she led data science as a service and advanced analytics initiatives across different areas of the bank. Additionally, she held the role of Senior Vice President, Advanced Analytics, contributing to the strategic development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions. In addition to her professional commitments, Sudeshna serves as an Advisory Board member for the School of Data Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Sudeshna holds a Master’s degree in Economics from North Carolina State University and completed the Technology Development Program at Georgia Institute of Technology. She also participated in the Women’s Leadership Program at Columbia University.
