Amit Arya

Amit Arya is a leader in data analytics and technology with over 20 years of experience. At McKinsey, he leads the data analytics and technology function for global banking, focusing on Generative AI (GenAI) projects and developing AI/ML governance frameworks for top banking institutions. Amit’s expertise spans the deployment of innovative data solutions and governance structures, enhancing scalability and efficiency. Previously, Amit was the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at a major U.S. accounting and advisory firm, managing AI/ML for a $1 trillion global banking practice. His extensive experience includes leading analytics teams for global financial institutions and regional financial services groups. Amit holds a Master’s in International Business from the University of South Carolina and has additional credentials in Machine Learning and Data Science from Stanford, Disruptive Strategy from Harvard, Blockchain from Cornell, and Sustainability (ESG) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He is a certified Data Scientist from IBM and is actively involved with the Analytics and Big Data Society and the Risk Management Association.
