Biography: Dr. Archit Parnami is an adjunct faculty member at the School of Data Science. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2022, where he worked on the topic of few-shot learning, advised by Dr. Minwoo Lee. He is passionate about education and is also the recipient of the UNC Charlotte Graduate School Teaching Fellowship for 2021 – 2022. During his tenure at UNC Charlotte, he contributed to the teaching and development of Machine Learning & Computer Vision courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.  He holds an MS in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte (2018) and a BS in Computer Science from Rajasthan Technical University, India (2014). Besides his academic interests, he is currently working in the Quantitative Analytics/Data Science domain, helping financial institutions in managing and detecting fraud using machine learning.
