Biography:

Yu (Eric) Kou is an assistant professor of marketing in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte. His research explores influencer video marketing and social media, using machine learning, deep learning, and causal inference to model practitioner and consumer behavior. His coauthored work has appeared in Marketing Science. He teaches digital marketing and web analytics at the undergraduate and MBA levels and brings industry experience from leading companies, including Alibaba. He earned a Ph.D. in marketing from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
