Biography:

Youngseob is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography & Earth Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His major research areas include geographic information science (GIScience), environmental health, human mobility, and geospatial artificial intelligence. The overarching goal of his research is to understand the interrelations between human health, mobility, and social/natural environments, with a keen focus on demographics and socioeconomic disparities. In addition, his research interests also include spatial data quality/uncertainty issues in the inference of human mobility patterns and environmental exposure assessment. He hopes his research endeavors contribute to make the society healthy, equitable, and sustainable.
